You can just take it from me!

I have been in the music business for many years and I don't know when I have ever known such a great bunch of people as these in the GOOD OLE BOYS Band!
Many of you may not remember that I played steel guitar in the original GOOD OLE BOYS Band when it was headed up by Virgil's dad and Chuck's dad. Incidentally, these were two of the greatest guys I was ever privileged to be part of their group and I miss them so very much!

All I can say is, I know both of them are very proud of their sons not only for keeping the GOOD OLE BOYS Band going, but at what outstanding music this band turns out. Both of the guys were always very particular to provide only the "best" in good old Classic Country music and I am so proud of Chuck and Company for continuing the very long tradition and for being one of the top bands that I have had the opportunity to hear!

You guys are awesome! Please keep up the good work and especially the wonderful tradition that was started years ago when the GOOD OLD BOYS Band was born!

I don't know about anyone else, but I will definitely be there everytime I possibly can to enjoy your music!

I look forward to seeing you again very soon, and enjoying much more of the band's good music!

Gee, Bob. I had no idea that

Gee, Bob. I had no idea that you were in the original GOB.

Kinda makes me feel like I took your job from you. Many apologies for that.

Oh, no you didn't take his

Oh, no you didn't take his job, Mike. Bob (a great steel player) was with the first generation of GOOD OLE BOYS that are not with us any longer (Virgil's dad, Leroy, and Chuck's dad, Emil.)
There is one of the original guys still with us, Roland, who sang and played steel when Chuck took over the band.
The first GOOD OLE BOYS had quite a long run with this band and had many different players with them. Previously, both Leroy and Emil, had other bands sepatately - The Stardusters, The Southwest Playboys, The Country Boys, Emil and Al.
We love Mike's steel! And he's one heck of a dobro and banjo player! Just ask for his "Foggy Mountain Breakdown"! He's the best!
